So last week I started doing mythics for the first time with an average ilvl of 944. They went ok especially considering the affixes were not ALL that bad, bursting is annoying but it can be avoided with team cooperation.
I prefer Lower Kara, Maw, and HoV. And I was doing them easily with last week's affixes even HoV 15 without a flask, just the augment rune and fel focus.
When this week started, I joined a +12 HoV for fun while upgrading my gear to 954 avg ilvl, and my God I was stunned at how redic' Hyrja was. I was rolling around with 25% crit and 25% haste and 98% mastery. It was a pain, at a certain point, her arcane bolt [or even people standing infront of her shield light] would one shot my dps'ers even with they got ancestral vigor .
I did a little tweaking to my secondary stats, now I'm rolling with 35% crit, 90% mastery and 24% haste, at the expense of 1 ilvl down, and honestly it's doing wonders for me. Finished a 14 HoV easily without flasks and foods with what, I think 7 mins left [we wiped once because we screwed up the add on Odyn so it could've been more time left].
